Trevor Tavern
About This Spot
Stepping into Trevor Tavern is like finding a familiar corner of the neighborhood where time moves a bit slower, and the mood feels comfortably unpretentious. This local spot, nestled on Wilmot Road in Trevor, offers a warm and welcoming retreat where friendly conversation flows as easily as the drinks. The pace here invites you to relax, settle in beside the bar, or gather around a worn wooden table with friends old and new.
The atmosphere carries a casual charm, grounded in a sense of community. The staff’s attentiveness and the easy camaraderie among patrons create a feeling of belonging, like dropping by a friend's place where everyone knows your name or at least welcomes you as if you did. Whether it's a lively discussion over pints or a quieter evening paired with comforting food, Trevor Tavern strikes the right balance between spirited and laid-back.
What sets this place apart is the genuine care woven into every plate and pour. The menu feels like a thoughtful nod to classic pub fare with a heart — crispy fried chicken dinners that satisfy without pretense, perfectly crisped fish fry offerings that quickly become a Friday tradition, and wings that carry just the right kick to keep you coming back. Pair these with a well-crafted Bloody Mary or an ice-cold beer, and you’ve found a simple, satisfying experience that reflects the unhurried rhythm of small-town Wisconsin.
For those who find joy in familiar flavors served with a bit of warmth, Trevor Tavern makes for an inviting stop — a place where the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere come together in quiet harmony. It’s less about fanfare and more about the pleasures of good company and honest, hearty fare in a space that feels just right.

Being an "out of towners", my cousin suggested this place for dinner on our visit. Highly recommend the fried chicken dinner plate - paired with a High Life = awfully good! Great service to boot!

Now known as Trevor Tavern. Friday fish fry was awesome and the staff were wonderful. This place has become a new favorite.

The new owners are doing a great job! Everyone at the table ordered something different - wings and wedges, the fried walleye and potato pancakes, fish fry and potato pancakes, fish fry and fries. Everyone’s plates were clean. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back soon!

We were in the area for the weekend and unfamiliar with the area. Searched for places that served fish fry nearby, and Kelly's pub was close by and had good reviews. We gave it a try and so happy we did. The wings were amazing! Big on flavor and size! Fish fry options were great. I got the Cod, and my husband had the lake perch. Outstanding. Happy we found this gem and will definitely be returning there when we're in the area again!

The fish fry was excellent. The service was very good. The food came out quick. The atmosphere? Well who doesn't love a Wisconsin bar for a fish fry!
